It’s no big secret that Chicago and Detroit are two of the best cities in the world for Hip-Hop. Two of my personal favorites, at least. I often see the debate (or spark it myself) as to which City has the better emcees. That debate never goes anywhere constructive, so it gives me great pleasure to announce a project featuring emcees and producers from two of those respective towns – the 7th Sons. Consisting of Chicago’s Vice Verse and Detroit’s Young RJ, this collabo album seeks to bridge the gap between these two Midwestern powerhouses, while showcasing some of the best talent we have to offer.
7th Sons features Posdnous (of De La Soul), T3, Illa J, Oh No, Baatin, Juan (Cheddar Boyz), with all of the production handled by Young RJ. Look for it within the coming weeks.
