Last night in NYC, jazz-pianist Robert Glasper and his band The Robert Glasper Experiment had a show with Lupe Fiasco at the Blue Note Jazz Club in NYC. Lu brought some special guests with him in the form of Kanye West and Mos Def, who kicked an impromptu freestyle session on stage. Talk about a nice treat. From the picture above (the only visual evidence we have) the crowd looked mature and didn’t seem to be going apeshit, which is what would’ve erupted had this happened in the Chi. Gotta love that Jazz crowd. Ha!
