What a long strange trip it’s been. After years of setbacks and label drama, the long awaited Lupe Fiasco album Lasers has finally dropped, and it currently holds the #1 and #2 positions on the iTunes hip-hop chart. This means that despite the negativity and bad reviews surrounding them album, the people are still buying Lasers in droves. Honestly, I think this guy has the best and most loyal fans in all of hip-hop, as I’m sure the majority of them downloaded it for free via the internets last week. Talk about a victory.
Right now, I’m predicting Lasers will be his highest selling album yet.
its not a bad album of an album. not sure why some folks including himself don’t like how it turned out.
