a long time? nigga u said since thirteen. wet behind the ear motherfucka. that keeping it real shit don’t work no mo. u gotta talk about smoking weed, getting money and fucking these hoes. u ain’t gonna get no bitches bein modest talking bout u dont make no gwop my nigga. wtf you thought. everbody know broke niggas dont get no pussy and they stay beating they meat cause they dont get no hoes.
Well since ur such an expert on what works & what doesn’t, does that mean every single rapper on the face of this earth has to talk about “smoking weed”, “getting money”, and “fucking these hoes” as u so delicately put it? Here’s a scenario for u…. what if by chance, music is the past time and an honest 9-5 job and dare i even say it…. a college degree is his way of getting money. In fact if u wanna take it there, i know several rappers who “TALK” about getting money n getting high that cant get a woman if their life depended on it because THEY WERENT REALLY DOING IT. & All they were doing was getting high, making half assed music, coming home to an empty home because no respectful woman wants to be with a stoner rapper with “dreams” of getting bread via “Music”.. Music? are u serious? Any respectful musician knows that money is not likely to come from music and they keep a full time job & work toward that degree in case the music shit doesn’t work. Then thank his lucky stars if it does. Roe is definitely one of many who just still do it for the love of music. With all due respect, u saying things of this nature just play into the stereo type of the Lazy nigga that almost every other race already perceives us as already. Not to mention that statement is laced with slave mentalites. But if that’s what u wanna be then i’d do nothing to stop it. Just a shame when we stop believing we can do positive things to uplift people and music & start fitting into the mold of every other Step n fetch-it trying to make a quick buck as it is. Sure we all broke, but life aint that bad… could always be worse & Remember, minstrels got paid for doing the same thing more than half of successful rappers r doing right now. Music had meaningful messages once… they didn’t always have to be positive (NWA for example) but they had meaning. I for one applaud what Roe is doing and support. Btw if u really wanna fit in well with today’s emphasis on money, weed, n hoes… u can start by not reading this. It’s pretty long lol <Stereotypes r bad arent they?
you must of not seen the sarcasm in that post
shut up bitch boy
Thanks for the post. Thanks for the feedback. I respect both opinions.
I never said I was broke tho. Listen to the record again.
However, I am modest and honest. If that means no “mainstream” success, so be it. I’m enjoying being an indie artist. I make music for the love and not for all the other “things” that come along with it.
gone head lil fam, fuck a hater, interior decorate em,
