Common, Wiz Khalifa To Headline North Coast Fest

I’ll go on record as saying the North Coast Fest 2010 had the best hip-hop lineup of any of the music festivals that Chicago hosted last summer.  Hands down.  I actually can’t say enough good things about North Coast, as it was a pleasant experience, they took care of their press (not shit on them like many other Fests) and the lineup was solid.  When it was announced they were returning for 2011 (Labor Day), I was thrilled.  Today North Coast announced some of their lineup, and the two big dogs for hip-hop are Com Sense and Wiz Khalifa. 

From what I hear, Com will be performing his new records from The Dreamer, The Believer, as it’s ended release date is some time this summer.  Fingers crossed on that.

Today Groupon released discounted tickets to the Fest and they sold out within a matter of moments, and became the fastest selling Groupon ever.  The Taylor Gang ain’t no joke.
