I’m proud to announce what could be one amazing project: a full length album from emcee mikeflo and producer Xtreme. There’s no question this could be something special, but I hope it doesn’t go the way of many of these proposed “group” or “joint” albums, and never actually comes out. That happens more than not these days, but I have a feeling flo and X will see this thing through completion.
It brings me great pleasure to let the world in on a powerful full length project myself (mikeflo) and multi-platinum producer XTREME (works include: Rick Ross, Raekwon, Ghostface, Jay-Z, Kanye West, NO I.D., etc etc…)have been working on entitled, “Eyes Open, Fists Clinched” (FYI, that’s a Chairman Fred Hampton Sr. of the Black Panther Party quote and may he and all fallen freedom fighters rest in UHURU). This is truly proud Chi City moment here….an RBG affair for the ages! This particular song is mixed by Jeff Jones (Joneszilla Inc.)

I really tried to stay out of responding to internet comments but I must chime in here to set the record straight and teach a lesson or two.
1. I’m a proud father of two. Period. So all that “if you plan on having kids shit…”. Really? And “retarded” are your ignorant comments, not my choices as an adult Afrikan Man. Check yourself.
2. This isn’t a pop culture expression. I’ve had Ancient West Afrikan Ashanti tribe and Kemetic markings for more than eight years now. Do your research.
3. I’m a retired school teacher of ten years (with face markings).
4. Indigenous cultures have been markings their bodies (including face) for thousands of years for various reasons…ie. rites of passage, war, spiritual transformations, etc etc…
I could go on and on….but moreover, the problem here is an undying and unconscious faith some people have on the formulas to success, especially from their neo-colonized minds and view points. Gone are the days of “straighten up and fly right”. To be a self determining individual in a cattle fed society is often a task, and one I’m more than willing to approach each and every time I receive enslaved feedback. i also see you mentioned the Maori in Aotearoa (aka New Zealand). I was just out there 2 weeks ago and received some indigenous Moko (tattoo). Last year on my travels to the same place, I (and my comrades) received ceremonial Moko from an Elder who was a 5 generation Moko artist.
