Dance a bit, drink a bit.
I remember hearing BBU at the Abbey Pub for Wale’s Attention Deficit tour stop. I was still new to the scene here and I wasn’t too familiar with any of the artists here. BBU’s ” Chi Don’t Dance” was a track that caught me off guard. It was unlike the Bump J., Mikkey Halsted & GLC tracks I was used to hearing. The Arlo-produced track introduced BBU to a lot of new people actually. I remember the “Who is BBU? This shit is dope” tweets like it was yesterday. Fast forward to October of last year and GLC finally delivers his Love, Life & Loyalty album. I can recall hearing track three and thinking to myself, “I’ve heard this before”. Well, that’s because GL’s “Pour Another Drink” featuring John Legend is the same Arlo-produced track as BBU’s “Chi Don’t Dance”. Crazy huh? Even though BBU’s track impacted first, I’m not sure as to who had the joint first. Seeing that John Legend makes an appearance on GL’s track, I’m guessing that it was recorded during his G.O.O.D. Music days. What do I know, though? One thing’s for sure and that’s the fact that I actually enjoy both tracks. Of course, I’ve included both joints for everyone to check out. Be sure to sound off!

BBU is trash. I seen them at the Big KRIT show and they are wack as hell.
I like bbu’s version too, that wale concert was my first rap concert was a great experience.
