Yesterday, the Vans Warped Tour rolled through Mil Town and I trekked up to there to catch the show. If you’ve seen Yela live, then you know that you’re in for a pretty dope show. It was only right for Yela to run through “Trunk Muzik”, “Billy Crystal” (my personal favorite), “I Just Wanna Party”, “Good To Go” and a few more of his bangers, but he felt the need to debut a new joint from his Shady Records-debut Radioactive. Titled “No Hands”, the track finds Yela kicking his signature flow over some Shady-esque production. I’m definitely ready to hear that one in all of his of it’s CD quality glory. Up top, you can check out Yela as he closed out his set with “Daddy’s Lambo”.
To those who didn’t get a chance to check out Catfish Billy yesterday, don’t fret. Yela will be back on the road later this year in support of his album, so you can catch him in a city near you then.
