File this one under: “when being a male groupie goes wrong.” I posted a blurb on this back in June, but it appears the accuser has now filed suit against Bizzy, claiming he beat the brakes off him.
Says the Red Eye:
According to the suit filed in Cook County Circuit Court, Joseph E. Zeidel paid $80 to a tour manager so he and his cousin could join other concertgoers on the group’s bus after the concert ended early June 10.
Zeidel and his cousin spent about half an hour talking with the group’s members on the bus before one of the rappers — Bryon McCane, known as Bizzy Bone — allegedly began harassing them, according to the lawsuit. The lawsuit does not explain what caused the confrontation.
As Zeidel and his cousin left the bus, McCane allegedly struck the cousin in the face and head, knocking him to the ground, according to the lawsuit.
Zeidel told McCane that he and his cousin were trying to leave, but McCane then allegedly hit him twice in the head and face, fracturing his nose and breaking his glasses, according to the lawsuit.
Police investigated but didn’t make any arrests, a department spokesman said Wednesday.
The lawsuit also names other members of the group, several concert organizers and Congress Theater as defendants.
Although, anyone who’d pay $80 to hang out with Bone is a lame, there’s no denying that Bizzy stays losing.
