Tuesday night, former all-pro Chicago Bear Jerry Azumah and NBA player Andre Iguodala held a dual charity event entitled Laugh Until You Cry, benefiting both stars various charitable organizations.
The event, held at the W Hotel-City Center, featured hilarious stand-up comedy from the Morning Riot’s own Tony Sculfield and Leon Rogers, not to mention sets from Willie Lynch Jr, Damon Williams and Lil Rel. Details? Yep, we got ’em.
Celebrity guests included Chicago Bull Jannero Pargo and wife Malaysia Pargo of VH1 Basketball Wives LA, former NBA player Antoine Walker, NFL player Garrett Wolfe, NFL player Corey Mays, singer and Lingerie Football League player Yashi Rice (they ask the average breast size in america as part of the show), and Windy City Live correspondent and WGCI radio personality Nina Chantele.
The ASAP Foundation and the A.I.Y.F. are dedicated to helping disadvantaged youth gain experiences and education generally not afforded to them. The ASAP Foundation is committed to supporting high achieving students in their pursuit of higher‐level education. To serve this purpose, the ASAP Foundation develops innovative and unique programs and charity events designed to raise funds for disadvantaged students. With a desire to empower young people, the A.I.Y.F. uses athletics as a conduit to encourage educational excellence. The foundation’s mission is to help young people maximize and reach their highest potential so that they may grow up to be successful adults.
