As a out-of towner. and living in chicago. personally i don’t agree with this list (MGK really = all hype, roscoe dash make the same song over and over again, only 3 i agree with is French,Future & don trip), but i don’t forsee anybody from chicago making it. Because chicago makes transitional music, nothing timeless. With the exception of a few, sorry chicago music always souded like what ever is trending at the time. I already know ppl are going to say i’m hating. but i rock with some chicago artist , louie, halsted, kids these days..but i just need to hear and see more…

only reason i said those 3 artist because their buzz has lasted years. Reason why No chicago artists are on here is because FAKSESHOREDRIVE doesnt post songs of real artists. They Blow up rappers like Chief Keef and Rockie fresh knowing damn well they dont compete with ANYONE on that list. King louie either. Only reason Feed and Rockie have buzz is cause of FAKESHOREDRIVE. You need a real buzz to get on the list. No hate on them though, but theres WAYYY MOREEE Talented artist in chicago that Fakeshoredrive overlooks for these 2 guys that rappers like Drake and YMCMB would run circles around. *Shrugs*
@ChicagoKid, I totally agree! When I see the artist that Andrew Barber and his staff select to be highlighted on here, its dishearting! I love the chi and rep it to tha fullest but dude and em aint got their ear to the flaming artist here in the chi… MYSELF BEING ONE OF EM.
