The Best Kanye West Songs: 25 More

Andrew Barber

Yesterday, I collaborated with Complex on their The 100 Best Kanye West Songs list. Hopefully you had a chance to make your way through it — I know 100 blurbs seems like a lot to take down, but there were some serious gems in there. But as crazy as this sounds, it was actually difficult coming up with only 100. Ye hasn’t even been on the national radar for a decade, yet his catalog stands up against emcees who’ve been in this for 15 to 20 years.

Of the feedback I received, many enjoyed reading about his lesser known songs and his pre-College Dropout material. Some of the pre-CD stuff is pretty excellent, and hasn’t received the credit or notoriety it deserves. So today, I wanted to follow up with a 25 More dope Kanye songs list, as a follow up to the list ‘Plex dropped yesterday. Today’s list weighs heavily on the early and lesser known material, with some well known joints sprinkled in as well. Enjoy part two.

**IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER**

Biggest mistake on the original list was Ni**as in Paris being so damn high. We basically got force fed that song…smh. Doesn’t deserve top 25 to me. And We Major should have been MUCH higher.
