BJ The Chicago Kid Signs To Motown

Andrew Barber

So is this eight or nine? Perhaps 10? I’ve lost count. BJ The Chicago Kid now joins the ranks of Chicago artists who’ve inked major label deals in 2012. After a long road and putting in work for many years, BJ has officially singed on the dotted line with legendary label Motown.

Congrats to BJ — this is well deserved.

YES!!! When he made the announcement @ The Shrine last night, the entire place erupted in cheers, his parents were on stage & were overwhelmed w/ joy, it was so much love for him in the building. Chicago loves our artists & when you’re a talent like BJ, who’s put in years of work, grinding & passionate about your dreams, it radiates in what you do & that energy overflows to his fans. He has so much love for Chi-City & us for him. CONGRATS!!!

Much love to him and congrats!!!

I hope motown does right by this kid and not hold him back like most labels would. I would love to see him get the label support he deserves.

Good Stuff!!!!! Andrew you really deserve an applause for FSD’s role in a lot of what has happened with Chi artist lately. Its not just Dj’s & PD’s (although a huge part as well) by ourselves anymore… Big ups Chicago!!!!!! #LetsWork!!!
