Video: Lupe Fiasco – B*tch Bad

Posted on August 22, 2012 by Ty Howard

Directed by Gil Green.

Premiered just a few minutes ago on RapFix Live, MTV delievers delivers Lupe’s video for “Bitch Bad”. This is definitely one of the best videos I’ve seen this year. Food & Liquor 2: The Great American Rap Album, Pt. 1 hits stores and digital retailers September 25th.

Real.Dope.Needed….. Somebody Must speak the truth out here to the youth and adults too as well matter of fact….. Were living in the modern day minstrel show era in Hip Hop…… If you watch videos on mute you will see what I’m talking about….

I salute Lupe for this record and accompanying visual…

… One the best pieces of “Art” that I’ve seen in years! As we say @ the lab there needs to be a better balance in hip hop music. This video is a reflection of that need. Props fam.

Cole Park spoke the truth. Modern minstrels is all we’ve got nowadays. Chief Keef, Plies, Jeezy, Soulja Boy, Wayne, Nicki Minaj, etc. I’m glad Lupe put a Nicki Minaj spoof in this video.

this is and forever shall be a poignant moment in hip hop that should be treasured long after lupe is done making music. The song should stand out for future generations the same way slick rick’s “hey young world” stood out to me as a child.

who cares if he burns bridges in the commercial industry he just knows where his heart is truly at and does it so clearly and concise. you have to respect it even if you cant get into it.

i’m tired of rappers bragging about the grandiose shit they’ve accumulated thru “grinding” nowadays. Rakim was talking about dreaming of reaching a successful point in his life while he dug in his pockets and only coming up with lint while he was on the same “grind”. hip hop has become so disillusioned and so sad. its a shame that it has influenced to much in popular culture while at the same time fallen deeply into a corporate almost propagandized state. I LOVE SOME HIP HOP, I HATE SOME HIP HOP

Love Lupo for going against the status quo and coon show rap.

    Really intelligent critique.
