When you saw the “x Sade” in the title, you may have thought Griff actually tracked down the beautiful recluse, and was able to nab her for a duets album. Well, that’s not exactly the case, but Griff and producer Bionik have taken some of Sade’s best ‘sounds’ and flipped them in to beats to rap over. You get the concept, right? I always enjoy these type of flips, so you can count on me diving into the album. If you remember correctly, Griff and Bionik did this three years ago over Prince samples (download that here).
