A few weeks ago, the good folks at Mountain Dew and Complex Magazine hit Chicago to speak with some of the figures within the music and art communities as part of Mountain Dew’s This Is How We Do Chicago campaign. The campaign is part of the DEWeezy launch, and also to celebrate a Chicago-centric can that is being sold specifically in the Chicagoland area.
These videos will be running throughout the week, and today we have two featuring an interview between yours truly and Chance the Rapper, as well as Hebru Brantley and Joey Cacciatore of Lacuna 2150 Studios. Check out what Dew had to say, and watch the other video below. There is also an ad running across all Complex Network properties, so be sure to check that out (check it above).

The videos above and below both showcase Chicago talents on the rise, and prove that if you don’t have an eye on the Windy City scene, then you don’t know what’s ahead for the arts. In the top video, we’re introduced to rising music star Chance the Rapper, via Andrew Barber, founder of Fake Shore Drive, Chicago’s premier hip-hop blog. In the video below, we get a tour of Lacuna Studios, the converted warehouse that now houses some of Chicago’s leading artists and designers, including graffiti sensation Hebru Brantley. Check out both videos, and remember—when you’re in Chicago, always respect how they dew.
