D. Rose’s return may be uncertain right now, but the return of addias Rose 3 Low isn’t. SoleCollector comes through with a detailed look at the ‘Flag Of Chicago’ edition of the Rose 3 Low.
Joy Blue, which represents Chicago’s various bodies of water on the flag, handles majority of the shoe’s upper, the tongue, inner lining and heel pull-tab. Symbolic of the North, West and South sides of the city are stripes of white, which fills the toebox, heel counter and midsole. The red found on the flag’s six-pointed stars helps finish off the look on the laces and outsole. Also embroidered on the backside of the tongue is “1917,” the year the Chicago flag was adopted.
