As of June 5, Lil Durk was having a great 2013. He’d broken ground on his Def Jam debut, with the label releasing his first official single, “Dis Ain’t What U Want.” He’d worked with elite industry figures, and even joined forces with French Montana’s Coke Boys crew.
Everything was going great until a probation violation for a gun charge derailed his plans. Thankfully for Durk, he wasn’t gone for too long, as he was released from the Statesville Correctional Center earlier today.
Moments ago Durk took to Twitter to announce his homecoming and announced he has new music dropping tonight. We’ll keep you updated on Durk’s status going forward.
