The SaveMoney squad had a banner year in 2013, with Vic and Chance grabbing national headlines and acclaim from almost ALL national publications. 2014 is looking like the year when the rest of the squad make it through the door. And one of the most talented rappers in the army is none other than Kami De Chukwu.
His 2012 debut, Light, was incredibly slept-on, but 2012 was a tough year for any new emcee to drop a project due to the hysteria surrounding the local scene at the time. But since his debut, he’s only gotten better, his rhymes more complex. So 2014 is the right time for Kami to strike a second time. He has a great ear for beats, and he can put a song together, so don’t be surprised if Kami’s sophomore set ends up on a lot of year end lists.
