Joey Purp and Kami De Chukwu have come together to form a duo with the most perplexing of names: Leather Corduroys. What does it all mean? Well, when we interviewed them, we ended up with more questions than answers, but just know that it’s something complex. Both artists are part of the SaveMoney collective, and both artists have solo projects slated for release in 2014. But when these two come together they’re very much the Raekwon and Ghostface of SaveMoney — a crew within the crew.
The chemistry between these two is evident, and their ability to command tracks together has been proven. Our only worry is that will these two find the time to complete the project with their soon-to-be-busy schedules.
