Maja 7th went on a rather lengthy hiatus, but he returns to FSD for the second time in a week with this new soundscape for Ill Brown. Now, you guys know Ill as a frequent collaborator of Maja 7th (in fact, Ill mixed our 2010 collaboration with 7th, The Breakout.) Well, despite having blessed the boards for the likes of Gangsta Gibbs, Bun B and Dom Kennedy; Ill Brown is also an emcee, and he dives headfirst back into rapping with his new project, Return of the Hardcore.
The project drops at midnight (2/25) and features Ill rapping over his own beats, as well as top notch production from Alchemist and SC. The leak we’re getting tonight is his collabo with Maja 7th, “Bar-Baric.” Andrew Bar-ber cosigns Bar-Baric. Check it out below and buy the album here.
