Common – Rewind That
Off top: RIP J Dilla. Common released an all-around fantastic effort with No ID this year with Nobody’s Smiling, and the outro “Rewind That” is something extra special. The track has Common taking a walk down memory lane, speaking on the beginning of his career with No ID and The Twilite Tone, as well as his relationship with J Dilla. Common’s storytelling is on-point as usual on this one, and he opens up about two topics fans had been waiting on him to address for years.
