The results are in, and the nominations for the 2015 Grammy’s have been trickling out throughout the day. As always, the nominees within the hip-hop/R&B categories have drawn plenty of controversy, but that hasn’t stopped many Chicagoans of being nominated for the most prestigious award in music.
Kanye West, Common, BJ The Chicago Kid, Jennifer Hudson, Da Internz, R. Kelly, No ID, Stefan Ponce, Chef Tone and a handful of others are all up for a gold gramophone on Feb. 8, 2015 on CBS at 7 p.m. CST.
And with Common’s album Nobody’s Smiling up for rap album of the year, that also means Dreezy and Lil Herb could also take home a trophy as well. Hit the jump for the full rundown of nominees and categories. For all 83, shoot over to the official Grammy homepage.
