Chance The Rapper is truly an inspiration — someone in a position of power who is using his power for good. Most people his age with this type of success wouldn’t be caught dead helping out CPS students and local youth on an almost weekly basis. Instead of fleeing the city, he’s decided to stick around and actually help and give back where it matters. He’s less than five years removed from high school. Think about that.
Today, he continued his tour of goodwill, as he paired with Ludacris at Alcott College Prep on the North Side, to give away computers and teach the kids about the power of the internet and staying connected. Chano and Luda partnered with the Internet Essentials program, which has helped over 50,000 Chicago families get connected at home over the last four years.
