Go Behind The Scenes of Donnie Trumpet & The Social Experiment’s “Sunday Candy” Video

Andrew Barber

The Social Experiment’s video for “Sunday Candy” (directed by Austin Vesely) is easily one of my favorites of the year. Hell, maybe even the past few years. A lot of time, energy and creativity went into it, and it’s hard to pull something of that caliber off in this day and age. Especially on an indie budget. But it just goes to show that talent and hard work trumps all, and the proof is in the finished product.

We rarely post behind the scenes footage after the fact, but this video needs some revisiting, and it also might help inspire the new generation of video directors and artists to follow the trend of putting actual thought, and effort into their clips. Salute.
