Calling all emcees, producers, singers and artists of all genres: Louder Than a Bomb, the 16th annual youth poetry festival, is looking for artists to submit to the third annual #LTABMixtape.
In partnership with Fake Shore Drive, artists of all genres will have the opportunity to submit a song to be featured on the official Louder Than A Bomb 2016 mixtape. LTAB is the largest youth poetry festival in the world. This year’s festival happening from February 13th – March 19th, and they’re expecting over 1300 participants from more than 130 Chicagoland area schools.
Past contributors have included: Mick Jenkins, Chance The Rapper, Saba, NoName Gypsy, Donnie Trumpet, Ric Wilson, and many more notable Chi City artists. Select featured artists will have the opportunity to perform at the mixtape’s release party happening, January 23rd at The Metro, as part of Louder Than A Bomb and WBEZ’s annual Winter Block Party Celebration.
Submission Guidelines:

- We are accepting submissions from November 11th – December 11th 2015.
- Up to one track no longer than 4 minutes (and some change).
- Include the song title and any production or feature credits.
- Uploading the MP3 below is preferred, but links will be accepted from SoundCloud or any other music host.
- All tracks must abide by YCA Content Rules. Young Chicago Authors is a safe space. No racist, homophobic, sexist, gender-biased, ageist, ableist, or any other language that is derogatory or hateful toward a group of people will be permitted. (Consider this carefully and as it pertains to profanity…)
