In a piece on the red-hot art scene within the city, Chicago Mag did a spread on some of our favorites that are making waves. Bios on Eryn Allen Kane, Towkio, Joey Purp, theMIND, Mick Jenkins, Bryan Allen Lamb, The O’My’s, Lili K., Saba, Liam Kazar, Homme, Austin Vesely, E’mon Lauren Black, Jamila Woods, and The Social Experiment, represent multiple mediums of the arts scene, including film, poetry, photography, and of course, music. Gathering all of these young talents together for one story is huge, and serves as a reminder (or, for the few still sleeping,) that we’re witnessing an absolutely crazy time for Chicago art. It’s a renaissance.

Check out Matt Pollock’s piece for Chi Mag here, and/or pick up a physical copy at newsstands today.
