It’s here. Part one of Vic Mensa’s two project series with Roc Nation/Capitol — and today is all about The Manuscript — a four song EP produced by No ID, Pharrell, Mike Dean, 1500 or Nothin and more. The EP features Pusha T, Mr. Hudson, and Pharrell. But honestly, it’s all about Vic and serves as a preview of what you can expect from the main course, which is due out this summer.
Last week, I had a chance to sit down with Vic to hear his official debut album, and it’s insane. If you wanna check out a preview of it, you can read it here. But honestly, playing the EP below is the best way to get in Vic’s head and is the perfect idea of what you can expect.
This is also the first project dropped on Capitol since the announcement of No ID’s EVP position, so you know they had to hit with a bang.
