Our good friends over at Closed Sessions dropped ‘Our Latest Compilation’ aka Closed Sessions Vol 3 the newest installment in the legendary compilation series going back to 2010. Previous tapes featured Action Bronson, Curren$y, Vic Mensa, Skyzoo, and Freddie Gibbs before they blew as well as bonafides Bun B and Raekwon.
The newest version recruits fast risers such as Kemba, Open Mike, Khary, Dave B, Mother Nature and more. The whole project was produced by emerging producer BoatHouse, who provides a cohesive style that molds to each emcee.
My favorite part is that it features artists from all over the country but maintains a STRONG Chicago feel.
