Tonight, a rumored list of who will appear on XXL’s coveted Freshmen 10 cover leaked to the internets. And if this list is to be believed, then Chicago has been shut out yet again. I’ll reserve judgement until we get final word, but it really doesn’t seem possible. Do remember, Chicago had EIGHT emcees up for the cover position.

Thats a pretty positive list to me. At least none are talking bout killing & making there city look bad, although I respect Chance & Rockie. The rest of the “DRILLERS” are the reason real artist won’t make the list. It’s sad but true.

There definitely should have been names. Herb, Durk, Louie, Tink, Chance The Rapper, YP, so much talent. but it is an xxl list, who really cares tho, Chicago don’t need any list
The homey GBOY MostRequested should have been on the list and I like Tink, Chance and Rockie Fresh too but Chi-town made a huge impact this year. We will be respected shout out to my fellow femcees also!! leettss get it.
