So far we’ve heard two joints from Common’s new project, Nobody Smiling. The Ab-Soul featured “Made In America” and “War.” The project is to be executed by super producer No ID, and is due out sometime later this year.
Well today we get a preview of a third joint, which you’ll be able to hear in full on CNN’s new documentary on Chicago, Chicagoland. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, then you’re surely aware of CNN’s new eight-part series, which makes it premiere tomorrow night at 9pm on CNN.
The series focuses on Chicago in the summer months and covers everything from Rahm Emanuel to Principal Dozier at Fenger High. We caught the premiere last night at the Bank of America Theater and it was nothing short of amazing. We highly suggest you tune in to the series weekly, with it kicking off tomorrow night.
Later in the series local figures such as Chance The Rapper, Hebru Brantley and Billy Dec are highlighted. Hell, even FSD gets some shine in episode five. So check out a preview of the series above, and hear some of Common’s new joint throughout.
