During a recent tour stop in Toronto with Nitty Scott, Alex Wiley cooked up a video for track seven from his recently released Village Party project. Wiley decided to share his video for “Splash Game” today via Billboard, where he also spoke briefly about his latest visual offering.
“The song is about when you’re just doubting yourself and breaking out of it,” he tells Billboard’s The Juice. “For me, it’s this one phrase: ‘Damn, I’m doing this wrong. I should be doing this…’ And [then] I’ll be like, ‘Wait, I’m that ni–a.’ That just helps me snap back into the right train of thought.”
