Video: Kenautis Smith & Race Bannon – DOG

Screen Shot 2016-08-02 at 1.14.47 PM

Last week we gave you the Mp3 for “DOG,” and today we have that video for you. Yes, the collabo project from Kenautis Smith and Race Bannon (of The Primeridian) is coming along nicely and if this O.G. mix of “DOG” is any indication, we’re in for quite a treat.

Race absolutely bodies this track, dropping some hilarious quips and making every bar impact forcefully. Big fan of this one. Even bigger fan of that Dirt McGirt t-shirt from Ol Dirty’s now-defunct clothing line from 2003 that Mr. Bannon is wearing in the video. Still upset that line never took off. Those who watched that Ol Dirty prison-release VH1 special know the real. He rocked that on 106 & Park to spite Rocawear. Sorry, too inside.

Watch “DOG” below, you ol’ dirt dogs. They even give some local artists some love here — what up Bru?

The Primeridian f/ Tree Tha Scarecrow – Are You Ready…? (Rush)

unnamed-1

Produced by Simeon Viltz

First and foremost, congrats are in order to the homies Simeon and Race of The Primeridian, who celebrate 20 years in the game this year. Wow. True, they’ve been making music separately for even longer than that, but the PM as a posse turns 20 this year — and that’s no small feat.

So in celebration of hitting this massive milestone, the duo has decided to cut loose a slew of unreleased joints and rarities for the fans — old and new — who have stuck with them over the years. And today they kick off the campaign with the Tree Tha Scarecrow-featured “Are You Ready…? (Rush).”

The question is are you ready for this? And I do believe you are. Check out underneath, and stay tuned for more loosies and a full project due out sooner than later.

The Primeridian, Neak & Nida Nasheeda – Stop On By

unnamed-9

Produced by Mulatto Patriot. Keys by Diggs Duke.

Prime Time is back, and today they’ve joined forces and have brought some friends along for the ride. Those friends being Neak, Nida Nasheeda and Mulatto Patriot. It’s a family affair, per usual. “Stop On By” serves as the first experience of Race’s forthcoming solo EP, Baked Goods. If you can’t stand the heat, well, you know the rest.
