4. Sweetness, by St. Alfred
There’s about five St Alfred’s shirts I wanted to put on this list, but it was so hard squeezing all of this into a list of 15. There’s no doubt about it, when it comes to Bears gear, St. Alfred snaps. All of their Bears stuff has been unbelievable and instant Chicago classics in the street wear world. The St. Alfred sweetness shirt was super ill to me. St. Alfred teamed up with the Payton family to release a 10th anniversary version of their original St. Sweetness t-shirt. Proceeds from the shirt went to the Walter and Connie Payton foundation. I loved everything about this.

a lot great picks, Dream Killer 2dope, Chicago Hates You had 2 b my favorite & that Leaders “medal” is insane!
i see you joe, always putting on for the westside.
THHP’s “Fuck Commercial Radio” should have made that list. They were super limited tho
This should have been on there, love it!
Y’al forgot the RichSocietyCrew Chicago Raised Me tee.
One of my fav tees EVER was a Vita Morte tee….. “Hollywood Is In California” wish I still had mine
THIS IS BULLSHIT HOW WHEN MY BRAND HAVE REACH OVER 200 STORE AN I MAKE MONEY THEN 1/3 OF THEM YOU GUYS CAN HAVE THE FAME WHILE I TAKE THE MONEY IF YOU DON’T BELIEVE ME ASK THE DESIGNERS LIST ABOVE LOL LOL LOL HERE IS MY SITE http://WWW.EAJEANS.COM BUT GOOD LUCK TO ALL THE DESIGNER I JUST WANT THE FIGHT TO BE FARE.
Looks cool, I like what you have done to commercialize the conepct. I’ve developed some Phosphorescent paint that is responsive to different frequencies of light and emits different colors. I think I saw one of your shirts at Burning man too. We put together a Glow in the Dark camp if your interested.
Edward I wouldnt consider your line “streetwear” though it doesnt cater to the same demographic as the stores mentioned. Your not really doing what they are doing. It looks like you have a more hood crowd, stuff you would find in Evergreen Plaza or on 63rd. Your line doesnt cater to the urban socialites, hipsters, yuppies, skaterss…its for hood nigs and rats. With that type of audience dont think you are gonna be making any “best of” lists. BUT Im sure you will get that hood money!
no one thought this might be a conflict of interest? and therefore, unfair?
The Vita Muerte tee,”Chicago over everything…” was straight up ripped off of the the Nike 255Studioand Mercer.
Go ahead and say you changed the words a lil bro. Tacky not classy.
My thoughts exactly.
this guy should be sued.
Chicago is the city of ripping off and biting….in every area clothes, music, etc. These dudes couldnt be original if they wanted to. LDRS completely ripped off Supreme with their latest Public Enemy logo stuff…this list is a joke….only thing half decent idea wise is the D Rose Harold Chicken joint. Other that that the designers in Chicago are not that dope to me…only impressive thing coming out of Chicago is “Sir and Madame”…their whole approach is forward thinking and quality. But I can tell whoever did this list is cliquish and has a limited perspective of the Chicago streetwear scene because he left out a shit load of stores.
I think your list is pretty spot on bro. I’m just surprised that you didn’t add the LDRS stacked logo shirt from a few years back. F these haters bro. “Chicago Hates You” lmao
I don’t see any Jugrnaut on this list… Worst list ever.
I think you should look into the clothing line LTR(Leading The Revolution) its an upcoming brand just started fall of 2011 have some dope designs
not a bad list i have several and rock wit pride in nyc …i need the harolds joint and new leaders where is it? a little bias ..leaders gotta re up little stale . put lins up for harolds d rose
PHLI logo tee should be number one PERIOD…and I am not a fan of that store but I have seen that bitch everywhere including on out of town cats.
