Y’all remember that old Silkk The Shocker song “You Ain’t Gotta Lie To Kick It”? Well, throw that shit out the window, because damn near everybody on the rap scene is a fuckin’ liar if you ask me. Rozay lied about being a CO. Nas and Kelis lied to everybody when they vowed to stay together in sickness and health, good times and bad. And Weezy lied in all those interviews that he said Carter 4 was his best work to date.
Everybody is lying ’round nis mother fucker — and I don’t know who to believe. They only rappers I believe are my man Residue Reed, who 100% has everything he rhymes about; and Count from L.E.P. because the incredible stitching on those L.E.P. jackets could only have been done by a Japanese four-year old. Everyone else’s hands are way too big to pull off such craftsmanship.
