8. Tree makes MTV’s Top 5 List

[Original Story]

This past May, highly influential Hip-Hop journalist, Andrew Nosnitsky (b.k.a. noz), coined Chicago’s very own Tree, as “Chicago’s greatest rising talent” and placed the local MC in his MTV’S Top 5 Mixtapes So Far piece. Tree found himself on a prestigious list alongside Future and  Rick Ross. The soulfully charged piece raised the bar for not only his Chicago counterparts, but also the music world as a whole. Who says Sunday School is boring?
