9. Xtreme
So legend has it that Xtreme got his big break riding around downtown blasting his beats in his car stereo when Jay Z pulled up alongside of him, heard the beat, and told him to pull over. Back story aside, this man has put in work for over a decade, bringing the world some of the most soulful records in hip-hop and R&B music. He’s worked with everyone sans B.I.G. and Pac, and is most definitely one of my favorite producers in the game — let alone Chicago. Not to even mention he helped break Bump J and YP. Anybody can get a placement, but very few break artists.
Notable Beat: Ghostface f/ Ne-Yo & Kanye West “Back Like That (Remix)”

Dug Inf is #1 in my book but those complaining were probably in diapers.
