5. Netherfriends – P3ACE
Netherfriends is the best artist you’re not paying attention to. There, we said it. No, it’s not exactly rap, but it’s not exactly pop either. Or electronic. Or rock. We’re not exactly sure what to call it, other than dope. Simply put, Netherfriends is a star. You only need to see him live once for proof. He produces all of these beats live without computer programs, and plays all of his own instruments. It’s a sight to see, and he’s truly someone you should have on your radar.
P3ACE dropped back in March, and was chock full of great, party-ready tunes. It’s fun, it’s cohesive, and it’s very different than what anyone else in the local scene is making right now. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
