FSD: What has changed about you as an artist?
God: Less writing and more rapping, without writing it down. I focus on doing the music and it all coming together.
FSD: Do you like working with other artists?
God: I love working with people that’s dope. It brings out another side in me. I like people that are use to collaborating. I like throwing around ideas and watching other artists dominate a track, it teaches me, then I go in and dominate the track.
FSD: Where do you stand on label deals?
God: That’s what we are going for. We trying to get the big fish. If the situation is right, ain’t nothing wrong with a deal. t’s all about how you negotiate your deal..that’s what a deal is.
FSD: How do you feel about people that can’t get over your name?
God: I don’t care about them. I’m not doing it for them. I do it for the people that’s listening to what I’m saying on my raps. It’s people thats really interested in what I’m saying. GOD stands for something. People will know when I drop the album. It’s going to be called GOD.
FSD: Why should people listen to your music?
God: Because they need to know the truth.
Great interview. Glad he’s been linking up with Juicy J and them. Seems like he can kill any beat given to him. Dudes really talented. Been rocking with GOD’s tracks for over a year here in Michigan. Always got me waiting on new tracks.
