What do you think you’ll be doing as Loren that you couldn’t do as Logan anymore?
As far as talent-wise, it’s the same either way. I just think I’m happier this way. I’m more confident. Logan is something I made up. A name for a person that I was for a certain amount of time. Loren is who I’ve been my whole life. I feel like I can finally express me in every aspect. Not just sticking to one persona. I feel like Loren embodies more of who I am, and that’s all I’m trying to figure out, who I am. I don’t really give a fuck about how it’s received right now. I hope it’s received well, but I don’t really care about that. Right now I’m just tryna figure out who I am, and just build from there. And everyone that’’s fucking with me from the jump, I appreciate them.
Has time affected how you go about making music?
As you grow as an artist, your creative process changed. Me and Flight always shake shit up, just for the sake of keeping it interesting for us. To keep us on our Ps and Qs. That’s why our shit is so diverse.
And you’re several projects in at this point, and you still go to Flight almost exclusively. Do you think your working relationship has changed at all?
I think we just keep building chemistry, G. I think we keep getting better individually and together. Muhfuckas just going crazy.
