Those waiting for an official Cool Kids reunion should stop holding their breath. It’s not happening. At least not anytime soon. You want that old shit? Buy their old albums. Both Chuck and Mike continue to carry on down distinct and vastly different paths, but that doesn’t mean that music has suffered. In fact, SMR’s official debut album, Banco, was pretty amazing. Surprising critics and fans alike. And with his last few loose releases, it appears he’s poised to do it again with Populair. Sir Michael still has it, and you should probably be watching a bit more closely. Ain’t a damn thing changed.
