Almost exactly three years ago to the day, Lil Durk signed a controversial and widely publicized record deal with Def Jam Recordings. Three years later, after countless mixtapes and plenty of, triumph, trials and tribulations, Lil Durk is finally set to drop his major label debut, Remember My Name. Thankfully.
It’s been a long time coming, but it hasn’t been an easy road for Durk. Close associates have been murdered (including his longtime manager Chino a few weeks ago), he’s endured jail time, and the once united drill scene has splintered and fractured many times. But Durk has persevered with laser-like focus, and has kept his sights on the prize the entire time. He’ll finally get his shot on May 12th. And he plans to never let you forget his name, no matter what happens.
