The overshadowing of this great piece of the project likely comes in no small part to the sheer popularity of the Chance the Rapper assisted “Heaven Only Knows,” which has been called by some publications one of the best songs of the year. While that song is undeniably hot, “God In Me” momentarily brings a different type of energy to .Wav, as we’re hit with a more hard-hitting, flexing style that strays from the feel good vibes of Towkio’s debut solo effort.
