Acid Rap One Year Later

Posted on April 30, 2014 by FSD Staff

Good Ass Intro

Intro tracks can be the most difficult to attack on a project and Chance spent seven long months tweaking every little nuance just to make sure it was perfect. The jazzy melody was an early sign of Chance’s possible plan for the Social Experiment band, as well as the perfect mixture of old school jazz with a Chicago twist. Chance spares nothing giving us an explosion of energy and his classic uptempo rapping.

With a multitude of rhymes and rhythms mixed in with pure off the wall references, he manages to make this one of the best tracks on the project. Chance might be super confident, but the last bar rings in an incoming truth:

I’m the motherfucking fucker, fuck a niggas fucking dumb

This your favorite fucking album, I ain’t even fucking done

I’m good! IGH!
