7. Mic Terror – Hiooo (Million $ Mano/Flosstradamus Edit) (2011)
“Hiooo” first hit my radar in 2007 when I saw Mic Terror perform this joint live at Lava Lounge (RIP.) The line “I’m so dope I got a real hype for a hypeman” stopped me dead and my tracks and I maintain it’s one of the dopest rap lines ever. For real.
The track first appeared on Mic’s super official 2008 mixtape, Welcome To The Terrordome Vol. 2, but then got new life in 2010 when Little Owl Recordings decided to put some bread behind it and re-release it complete with a Flosstradamus remix. The video was very much needed, and even featured Eric from Midwest Live as Mic’s hype for a hypeman. Plus drunkenly yelling “HIOOO” in the club never gets old.
