L.E.P. Bogus Boys – Faces
The reality of the Chicago streets are grim. It’s ugly. People don’t want to explore or investigate the roots of evil that have grown for generations. Why are the shorties so wild? Why is life like this? Why do they do what they do? Well, on “Faces” Count and Moonie dug into this subject matter headfirst: “The only thing change are the faces on the news.” It cut deep. Very deep.
This record should have been bigger as it spoke on the touchy subject of violence from a different angle. Sometimes art isn’t appreciated until years later, and this is proof of that statement.
