This was a breakthrough record for Count and Moonie. Period. Count’s verse was extra sinister, taking shots at the Mayor and in the Police Chief in one fell swoop: “These cops crooked in Chicago, Daley took em out them Crown Vics and bought em Tahoe’s/In traffic I don’t panic when I see police lights, I got them pigs in my pocket like Jody Weiss.”
All while leaning on a CPD squad car. A ballsy move for most, but an everyday thing for the G Count.
