DJ Nate – Gucci Goggles
DJ Nate’s “Gucci Goggles” first surfaced during the summer of 2012 around the same time drill was taking off. At the time “Gucci Goggles” was an oasis of joy in a sea of murky drill music. Now almost two years removed from that, “Gucci Goggles” is looking like the sermon on the mount for bop music. “Gucci Goggles” is a song about blowing $200 on a pair of useless ski goggles and just feeling fucking amazing about it. When Nate lets loose with the instantly cannon “I jack ball, I bop, I flex!” hook he does it with the confidence of someone who just knows what he’s singing is catchy as shit. DJ Nate’s self produced beat soars triumphantly through the Chicago skyline as he slings instant quotables with the same effort most use to make a Pop-Tart. “Gucci Goggles” is a perfect slice of the kind of genius being produced on the west side of Chicago right now and a perfect song in general. Pop music doesn’t get much better than this.

Bop then produced by Kizzr Beats from Serbia! Beat is from 2011.
If you actually listen to this song, it’s about swimming googles not ski, but hey what dif does it make.
Its a double negative with these songs. Kids wanna hear but they don’t seem to make radio versions (at least I haven’t seen many) and you can’t play them where kids go. (Prom, outdoor fest)
