FSD Feature: A Guide To Harold’s Chicken In Hip-Hop

Posted on June 9, 2014 by FSD Staff

Kanye West, GLC and Cousin Bang at Harold’s Chicken (2003)

This footage of Kanye, GLC and Cousin Bang at Harold’s surfaced a couple years ago courtesy of some lost tapes dug up by Coodie and Chike of Creative Control. It’s from the exact day when Kanye appeared in Leon’s BBQ and Harold’s in the “Through The Wire” video.

Instead of simply putting out the footage as a ‘remember when’ clip; Cam’Ron, Bang and Creative Control turned it into a comedy sketch. Hilarity ensues.

“Half-dark special, hot sauce on it.” Trochaic but never prosaic.
