FSD Feature: 20 Dope Songs In Chicago-New York Collaboration History

Posted on August 27, 2014 by FSD Staff

R. Kelly f/ Jay Z “The Best of Both Worlds” (2002)

Man, listen. If that Kells sextape with an alleged minor wouldn’t have surfaced, this album would’ve been to the moon. True, it wasn’t as great as it could’ve been, but due to the controversy surrounding Robert at the time of the album’s release, it was quickly swept under the rug as if it never existed. But go back and listen to it now. It’s pretty great, with a slew of slapping would-be singles. The title track, however, is still too amazing to ignore. Throw it on at a club now and wait for the reaction if you don’t believe me.
